PROUT Design Course

COMING SOON! 6 monthly meetings TBA | Zoom Meetings

PROUT Design Course

Time: 10 – 12 am Pacific Daylight Time

Tuition: $120 (limited income $60)

Venue: Zoom Platform (Link will be sent after registration)

Ravi Logan, with instructional support from the PROUT Insitute, will offer for the first time – anywhere – a course that gives participants a practical experience of PROUT local development design. As more and more communities go into crisis, there will be an increasing need for people able to envision new approaches to development that allow all communities to thrive and ecosystems to heal.

The focus will be on basics, so extensive background in PROUT development theory is not needed. However, we are asking participants to have either taken or to have audited the Transformation Education course, “The Practice of PROUT,” or to get special permission to enroll. Students will participate in a design project; some work outside class will be required.

The course instructor is available to communicate with anyone wanting to discuss whether this course is suited to their interests.
Supplemental readings will be provided.
A certificate will be awarded by the PROUT Institute to those who meet completion requirements.
Registered participants will receive a recording of the classes in the event that they cannot attend the live class.
Ravi Logan is the Director of the PROUT Institute and a principle instructor in the Transformation Education Program. He is the principal author of PROUT: A New Paradigm of Development. In 1993, he co-authored the Plan for the Economic Development of Khabarovsk Krai on the Basis of PROUT, a report undertaken at the invitation of the Vice-Governor of Khabarovsk Krai in Far East Russia. His new books are A New Interpretation of Revolution and Transition to a New Era. He is also the founder and program director of Dharmalaya, which has as its mission “to promote dharma holistically in personal, social and ecological spheres of life.”
