Capitalism has become an outworn and failed system, unable to provide equity, economic empowerment, environmental protection, or deep meaning in people’s lives. Humanity cannot long continue under capitalism; it must move forward, making a transition into a new soci0-economic vision.

The major problems facing humanity can no longer be solved by change of policy, change of laws, or even change in institutions. The proper purpose of revolution is to overcome stagnancy in the collective psychology and to breathe new life and dynamism into the society. This cannot be done with regime change. Deposing one ruling group and installing another will not end the oppression people feel, for the ideology of greed will remain in place, the hollow life of materialism will remain in place, and the fundamental problems we face will persist. What is needed is to give life to a new collective psychology, based on new values, leading to a true revolution that brings a wave of new dynamism into our collective expression.
